If you are planning to spend Christmas on Costa del Sol, this article is going to help you plan your perfect holidays.
Before we share our list of TOP things to do in Marbella and around it during the Christmas season, we would like to remind you what the weather is like during December and January. For the past 5 years the weather during the day stays up to 21 degrees and 14 degrees at night.

Whether you’re visiting for a winter escape or spending your first Christmas as a Marbella local, here are the best things to do during the festive season:
Christmas Markets. One of our favorite markets take place at the Forum. Forum is inviting Marbella inhabitants to enjoy their unique Christmas market, among their stands you may find delicious treats, hot chocolate, clothing stores and even an ice rink. 5-star hotels such as Kempinski Bahia, Puente Romano Beach Resort, Boho Club Marbella are hosting Christmas themed events during the month of December.

Shopping at Puerto Banus. Puerto Banus is an iconic spot where luxury and style come together. People from all over the world arrive in Marbella to visit it. For those seeking premium experiences, Puerto Banús offers an exceptional selection of activities in Marbella and its surroundings. During Christmas, its glittering marina, high-end boutiques, and festive décor create a magical atmosphere where visitors can enjoy exclusive shopping, gourmet dining, and holiday events surrounded by dazzling lights and Mediterranean charm.

Enjoy Christmas lights in the Old Town. The Old Town of Marbella is a magical place to visit during any season of the year. Plaza de los Naranjos features towering illuminated angels alongside its famous orange trees, creating one of the Costa del Sol’s most photographed Christmas scenes. We recommend starting your walk from Parque de Alameda and continuing up to Old Town through Plaza Africa.

Treat yourself to a delicious dinner. Marbella and Costa del Sol have become a gastronomic hotspot. Long known for its glamorous beaches, luxury lifestyle, and Mediterranean charm, Marbella has quietly transformed into one of the most exciting gastronomic destinations in southern Spain. A wave of innovative chefs, beautifully designed restaurants, and year-round culinary programming has turned the city into a haven for food lovers. Among our favorite dinner spots are Tragabuches by Dani Garcia, Nota Blu Brasserie, La Cabane by Dolce & Gabanna, Messina Restaurant.
